Kenilworth is a small lakefront suburb known for its grand stately homes, gorgeous architecture and excellent schools. It has a Metra station for easy access to downtown.

Schools

New Trier is the high school that services Kenilworth. It is nationally recognized for its academic excellence. In addition it has a vast array of sports and extracurricular programs. New Trier provides outstanding education programs for all levels of students. From its college level advanced placement courses to its special education classes New Trier challenges its students and provides an excellent education for all. It sports teams compete for state titles regularly, its gifted students are admitted to the top colleges, and its special needs students grow and learn in an inclusive environment to the best of their capabilities.

Kenilworth has one elementary school that goes from kindergarten to eighth grade. Joseph Sears School is very popular since the kids stay together in a small nurturing atmosphere up until high school.

Parks and Recreation

Kenilworth is known for its classic assembly hall that was built in 1906 by renowned architect George Maher. It is available to residents to hold events, such as, weddings and parties. Kenilworth has a relaxing sandy beach with lifeguards for summer fun.
