Glenview

The suburb of Glenview is one of Chicago’s largest in terms of land mass. It has a very diverse housing stock ranging from grand estates to convenient in town condos and townhomes.

Schools

Glenview is serviced by 4 different excellent high schools: Glenbrook South, Glenbrook North, New Trier and Maine East. There are also 4 grade school districts in Glenview. The largest is district 34 which feeds into Glenbrook South and North High Schools and covers the vast majority of Glenview. In the far East part of Glenview grade school Districts 39 and 37 are part of the New Trier school district and in south Glenview district 63 feeds into Main East.

Park District

Glenview has one of the most amazing Park Districts of any suburb and has such diverse offerings as a Wagner Farm, a preserved educational farm with cows, chickens, pigs, and a old fashion general store to The Grove, a forest preserve area with walking trails, wild deer, and an educational house with turtles, fish & frogs.

The Glen

In the middle of Glenview is a subdivision called the Glen that was developed from a former Naval Air station in the 1990’s. The Glen is filled with many gorgeous new homes, condos and townhouses. In addition the Glen has a great little downtown with an excellent variety of great shops and restaurants, a golf course, and a recreational center with an indoor pool, gym, and rooms for dance and other activities.
